Megaman Battling Cancer With Beats

Our very own, Michael “DJ Megaman” Mayeda, DJ/Composer/Producer-extraordinaire has declared war with cancer the only way he knows how – through music. Recently Michael’s aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer, and rather than raising the white flag, he decided he was gonna create a Step Up movie of his own. Once a month Mega will be offering a free producer pack to anyone and everyone free of charge. The only thing he asks is for you to donate any amount to The American Cancer Society . It’s as simple as that. Here’s what Megaman posted on Facebook about the project:

#MusikMakerz and DJ’s, as I promised today I would have some audio tools to share…Today I have an Ableton session for you that contains the wave files arranged as a track. The demo of the track is located at instagram.com/michaelmayeda. I will be sharing this kind of content with you once a month, everything from Ableton audio sessions, patches, midi, and other tools.The only thing I ask is that if you do find these tools helpful and use them in your own material please do consider a donation to the American Cancer Society. There is somebody special to me currently battling cancer.
